Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice explains how PT Geonet Developments International (“GDI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses personal data through the website at geonetdevelopmentsinternational.id (the “Website”).

GDI is a company established under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia with its registered office at Jl. Raya Kerobokan No. 86, Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia. GDI is the personal data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

We handle personal data in line with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the “PDP Law”) and its implementing regulations.

2. What we collect

When you send us an enquiry or register interest in a role through the contact form, we collect:

• your name, and the company you represent if you give it;
• your email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
• the content of your message;
• your consent to our use of your details, and the date and time you gave it.

When you visit the Website, we and our service providers also collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the link or campaign that brought you to the Website, and the date and time of your visit.

We do not ask for specific personal data (such as health, biometric, criminal record or financial information) through the Website. Please do not include it in your message.

3. Why we use it

We use your personal data to:

• respond to your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence with you;
• consider your interest in working with us, if you register interest in a role;
• protect the Website and the contact form against spam, fraud and misuse;
• understand how the Website is used and improve it, where you have accepted analytics cookies;
• comply with our legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Our legal basis is your consent for your enquiry and for analytics cookies, and our legitimate interests or legal obligations for security, record keeping and legal compliance, as permitted by the PDP Law.

We do not use the details you give us for marketing unless you separately agree to it, and we do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed for the purposes above, with:

• service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions, including website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, email and office software, and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA);
• other companies in the Geonet organisation, only where your enquiry concerns a matter they handle and it is needed to respond to you;
• our professional advisers, such as lawyers and auditors;
• courts, regulators and other authorities, where the law requires it.

Our service providers are required to keep your personal data confidential and secure and to use it only to provide their services to us.

5. Transfers outside Indonesia

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Indonesia, for example in Singapore, the European Union or the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside Indonesia, we do so in line with the PDP Law, which means making sure the recipient provides an adequate level of protection, putting appropriate safeguards in place, or obtaining your consent.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and then for 24 months from our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or needed for a legal claim. After that we delete or anonymise them.

7. How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. If a breach of personal data occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the PDP Law requires.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, unless you choose otherwise. Where we use analytics or advertising tags (such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or the LinkedIn Insight Tag), they load only after you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the Website’s cookies in your browser.

Films on the Website play from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com). Links to YouTube and Spotify take you to those services, which handle your data under their own privacy policies.

9. Your rights

Under the PDP Law you have the right to:

• be told who is collecting your personal data, why, and on what legal basis;
• access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
• have inaccurate or incomplete personal data corrected or updated;
• have your personal data deleted or destroyed, and to end its processing;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it;
• object to decisions made solely by automated processing that significantly affect you;
• ask us to delay or restrict the processing of your personal data;
• receive your personal data in a commonly used format and have it sent to another controller, where the PDP Law allows;
• claim compensation for a breach of the PDP Law in relation to your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the time limits set by the PDP Law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Indonesian authority responsible for personal data protection.

10. Children

The Website is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Website or the law. The updated notice will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.

12. Language

This notice is made in Bahasa Indonesia and English. If there is any inconsistency between the two versions, the Bahasa Indonesia version prevails.
